So what is special about Dr. Disharoon’s office? Many things are special but let me share one recent experience. Last week a patient not only had a tooth ache but her physical illness was offering many challenges on the day of her visit: pain upon walking, nausea from medication, only to mention a couple. Upon evaluation we realized her mouth pain was coming from an abscess that needed to be treated in the specialist’s office across the street. Our patient support staff called over to the specialist and thank goodness they could see her within an hour. But she needed to take a prescription medication before he saw her. One of our staff went to the pharmacy, picked up her medication while she went over to his office and got as comfortable as possible in his reception room. The dental assistant/”drug runner” then took the medication over to her. Within no time her pain was releived, she had all the medication she needed and she could go home and rest. She didn’t need a ride home but we have been known to drive patients home when necessary. We LOVE taking special care of our patients! How can we take care of you?
